History
The 2010s began as the world slowly came to grips with the reality of man-made climate catastrophe. Planning to combat this was scarce; real action was even fewer and farther between. The founders of Base Papers understood the urgency very clearly. In 2012, Base Papers Ltd began factory initialization and installment. With the factory becoming operational in 2014, Base Papers became one of Bangladesh’s first recycled paper industries and a true flag-bearer of industrial sustainability.

Established on 9.5 acres, Base Papers Ltd’s factory lies at the heart of Dhaka’s expanding industrial area. Situated among lush greenery in Sreerampur, Dhamrai, the factory is the life-center of Base Papers’ operations. Carefully designed and meticulously maintained, Base Papers’ state-of-the-art factory prioritizes efficiency and pro-environment practices. The on-site housing facilities offer employees a communal environment to work in. The factory is surrounded with trees and ponds to make the factory environment comfortable and pleasing. The process itself is top-of-the-game DIP manufacturing. Operated with a Zero Exhaust ETP and rerouted process fluid systems, Base Papers houses an industry leading factory in both quality and sustainability.
